Jadon Sancho’s hat-trick took him his goal tally to 15 goals for the season, making him the first English player to register at least 15 goals and 15 assists in a single season in one of Europe’s top five leagues since the 1995/1995 Premier League campaign when Matt Le Tissier reached this feat for Southampton.
The winger also became the first player to attain this feat in a German Bundesliga campaign, since the start of the detailed data collation in the 2004/2005 season.

Dortmund’s victory moves them to 60points, just four points adrift Borussia Monchengladbach and Bayer Leverkusen, with Bayern Munich sitting above them in first place with 67points.
Next weekend, Borussia Dortmund face a tough test at home as they welcome in-form Hertha Berlin on Saturday, while Paderborn woes might continue as they travel to face Champions League Quarter-Finalist RB Leipzig.
