American actor and television presenter, Nick Cannon, has stated that he plans to remain celibate until the year 2022.
This comes after the former America’s Got Talent host became the father of seven children, three of whom he welcomed this year.
With ex-wife Mariah Carey, he has twins Moroccan and Monroe, who are 10 years old. Cannon welcomed twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir, as well as son Zen, with model Alyssa Scott, in June.
His daughter Powerful Queen was born barely six months ago in December 2020 with his ex, Brittany Bell, with whom he also has a four-year-old son Golden.
On his most recent episode, Wild ‘N Out, Nick, 40, opened up about having seven children with his co-hosts DJ EFN and N.O.R.E.
Nick Cannon said “I told you, man, I’m now celibate.” He said, almost as if he were placing a wager with himself: “I’m going to try to make it till 2022.”

When his co-hosts indicated he wouldn’t follow through on his decision, Nick clapped back: “Nah, y’all said I ain’t actually.” I’m announcing that I’m going in.”
The talk show host previously stated that all of his children were planned, telling Power 106 radio in July that he “doesn’t have any accidents.” In September, the talk show host disclosed that his therapist advised him to stop having sex and more children.
“My therapist advised me to be celibate,” he stated, adding, “I’m going to take a break from having kids.”
