The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has asked the former governor of Lagos State and National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to concentrate on his political goal and distance himself from Governor Godwin Obaseki and Edo politics.
This comes after the Lagos governor allegedly described the PDP candidate as a dictator in a statement, following the disaster that occurred at the Assembly last week. Therefore, the Chairman of the PDP state campaign council, Chief Dan Orbih responded to the statement by Tinubu at a media briefing in Benin on Saturday.

Orbih said that the APC leader was clearly not well-informed of the political circumstances as well as the issue surrounding the Edo Assembly disaster. “We call on Tinubu to concentrate on his political ambition because Edo people will not allow anybody to dictate what happens in their state to them,” he said.
Previously, PDP reported that Tinubu’s bitterness with Obaseki was a result of what is called the recent failed “coup” at the Edo State House of Assembly.

The Chairman of the PDP state campaign council also stated that the former Lagos State governor style of politics was not good to the people of Edo and they should be permitted to choose their destiny.
