The Senior Special Assistant of Governor Godwin Obaseki, Hon. Ikponmwosa Ray Odeh has acclaimed the people of Edo State for behaving responsibly during the conduct of the concluded governorship election that took place on Sep 19.
Odeh further congratulated the governor for securing another term of four years in office. The SSA described Obaseki’s victory as corroboration of agreement among the people, that the governor had done an exceptional job at satisfying their wishes and is therefore worthy of their trust.

He also assured the people of the state that Governor Obaseki was not going to break his assurances as he has their best interests at heart, adding that the next four years will demonstrate his commitment to good governance and progress for all the parts of the state.
“The people of Edo State have voted and they have made their voices clear. Now, the baton has been passed to Governor Obaseki to continue the race and you can rest assured that he will race until the finish.

“He has shown his loyalty to the people and as they have trusted him to lead them on, he will not betray their trust. Obaseki is a man of words and action and he will maintain that reputation,” said Odeh.
He also articulated his conviction that working with him for the next four years will produce positive outcomes for the people of the state.
