The top Nigerian female superstar Yemi took to her Twitter page to ask fans why it always seemed easy for people to assume that it is the women’s fault when their men cheat and then women are shamed for reciprocating the act of betrayal.

“but why is it so easy to assume it’s the woman’s fault when a man cheats but when a woman cheats she is a sl*t?”
Yemi Alade wrote again saying that no matter how good a person is, they might never be completely enough for their partners and they end up cheating. The Nigerian singer Yemi Alade said that women should not be at fault for their partner’s indiscretion.
She wrote: “Don’t people realise that no matter how good you are, you might never be completely enough for some people, so they cheat. It’s not your fault!”
