Olatobiloba Peters, the Senior Pastor of Divine Mercy Church, has predicted that the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, will die in the custody of Nigeria’s secret police, the Department of State Services (DSS).

According to the pastor, IPOB members then declared war on President Muhammadu Buhari and entire Nigeria in order to avenge his death.

The cleric, on the other hand, urged everyone to pray against the prophecy so that it does not come true, adding that Buhari and the DSS should take Kanu’s case seriously.

He warned that Kanu’s case could spark the mother of all Nigerian riots.

According to the DAILY POST, Peters stated, “I see his followers declaring war on the president and Nigerians in retaliation.” Nigeria is at a crossroads.

“I will advise those in power to handle this case carefully because one misstep could trigger the mother of all violence in Nigeria, his group are seriously aggrieved and planning seriously.

“As a man of God, I say Kanu should be treated with care because I see he is currently fragile and his death would have serious repercussions.

“This government should take my words seriously because I see great danger ahead if things are not handled carefully,” he added.

Just before Kanu’s abduction, Mr Peters stated that the IPOB leader might not live until the end of 2021.

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra, was kidnapped in Kenya and returned to Nigeria more than a week ago.

Last Tuesday, he was arraigned before the Federal High Court, presided over by Justice Binta Nyako.

He is currently in the custody of the DSS after an Abuja High Court Judge, Nyaku ruled that he should be held by the secret police until the next hearing on his case on July 26.
