Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate (APC), has told his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) counterpart, Atiku Abubakar, to step down and endorse him for the 2023 presidential election.
On Monday, the presidential hopeful met with leaders from the country’s north for an interactive session under the auspices of the Arewa Joint Committee.

The interactive session took place at Kaduna’s Arewa House.
It was organized by a coalition of six organizations, including the Arewa Consultative Forum, the Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation, the Northern Elders Forum, and Jamar Matan Arewa.
Tinubu is asking Atiku to return his 2007 goodwill by stepping out of the presidential race and endorsing him.
In 2007, Tinubu reportedly dropped his ambition and endorsed Atiku who contested under the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN).
“I supported Atiku Abubakar in 2007. Don’t blame me if I ask for the payback.
