Mr Sani Magaji Tambuwal has been appointed as acting Clerk to the National Assembly by the National Assembly Service Commission (NASC) (CNA).
Tambuwal previously served as the National Assembly’s Secretary of Finance and Accounts. Meanwhile, the position of CNA became vacant after Arc. Amos Olatunde Ojo retired on Tuesday.

The NASC also promoted Mr Ogunlana Kamoru from Secretary of Legal Services to Acting Deputy CNA.
Mrs Henrietta Aimua-Ehikioya (Secretary of Special Duties) has also been reassigned to the position of Secretary of Legal Services.
Mr Birma Shuaibu, Director of Legislative, was promoted to Secretary of, the Human Resources Directorate, while Mr Umoru Barde Ali (Director of Pharmacy) was named acting Secretary of Research and Information.
Other appointments include Mr Omogbehin Yomi (Director of Legislative) as acting Secretary of Special Duties and Mr Inyang Clement Titus (Director of Accounts) as Secretary, of Finance and Accounts.

Mr Nwoba Andrew (Director of Administration) was promoted to acting Secretary, Planning and Legislative Budget.
