Twitter Blue has arrived on Android, and a subscription through Google Play will cost you $11 per month, just like it does on iOS.
The social media website has updated its Blue About page to include Android pricing for all countries where the service is currently available, including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan.

Previously, if you wanted to enjoy Blue’s benefits on an Android phone, you had to pay for a subscription via the web or an iOS device. Paying through Google, on the other hand, will cost you $3 more than paying through a web browser.
Twitter is essentially passing on the tech giants’ 30% commission to you by charging more when you pay through your device’s app store.
If you don’t mind using a web browser to access Twitter Blue, you can get a year-long subscription for $84 regardless of your phone’s operating system. It’s a new option that costs $7 per month instead of $8 per month.
A Twitter Blue subscription will give you a blue checkmark next to your name on the website and access to features that are not yet available to non-paying users. One of these features allows you to preview your tweet and “undo” it before it is posted to your timeline.

You can also create bookmark folders, themes, and custom app icons. However, as TechCrunch points out, there’s no telling what Blue’s feature set will look like in the coming months: the company could add or remove features at any time.
