With the team finishing 12th in the Premier League last season, the 51-year-old faces a significant challenge in turning their fortunes around.
During his first media appearance as Chelsea head coach, Pochettino asserted that he is the right person to restore the club to its former glories.
Despite being sacked by Paris Saint-Germain just a year ago, he expressed his excitement about the appointment.
However, it was not Pochettino’s words that caught the attention of former England footballer Gary Lineker.

Pochettino expressed his enthusiasm about working with a young team and stressed the need for hard work and a positive training environment to build success in the coming years.
As Pochettino takes charge, Chelsea is undergoing a significant squad overhaul.
Players such as Mateo Kovacic, N’Golo Kante, Edouard Mendy, Kai Havertz, Kalidou Koulibaly, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek have been sold, and more departures are expected.
