Asari Dokubo has threatened to kill anyone who comes against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. “If you do it anyway, you’ll see; we work for President Tinubu, and anyone looking for his downfall will fail.”
Asari Dokubo, the militant leader of the Niger Delta, has publicly said that he and his band of militants are working for President Bola Tinubu of the ruling All Progressives Congress.

He threatened to smash anyone who misbehaved or sought Tinubu’s demise.
Dokubo, who the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) had accused of being responsible for deaths and criminalities in Imo and Anambra states in Southeast Nigeria and Southern Kaduna in the North, made the remarks while addressing a parade of militants.
He claimed to have authority in over 300 militants, which he’d use against anyone after President Tinubu.
Dokubo paid Tinubu a visit at the Presidential Villa in June, just two weeks after he was sworn in as President, stating Tinubu had been a father figure to him for 30 years.
During his tour, he claimed that the Nigerian military, particularly the Army and Navy, was responsible for 99 percent of oil theft in the Niger Delta.
“The Army and the Navy intimidate the Civil Defence, who are by status the people who are supposed to guard these pipelines,” Dokubo said.

“So the Army and Navy are the main culprits.” And there are notorious navy officers who are known to be the masterminds behind these bunkering operations.
Even if they give everyone in the Niger Delta a billion dollars in contracts, because these military men are armed from the Army and the Navy he said.
