According to SurgeZirc NG, the president, who is required by the constitution to deliver his cabinet list within 60 days after his inauguration, has only three days before the deadline.

Sources confirmed that there has been concern over the list because the President has been revising the list he had created.

According to a highly placed source, the president has stated that he is interested in Rivers, Kano, and Lagos states and would like to personally select ministerial nominees from the three states, while the Vice President, Kashim Shettima, is said to have been given the authority to nominate ministers from the North-East.
