Reno Omokri Threatens To Harass Buhari Out Of New York As President Prepares For UN General Assembly Summit

An ex-aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has threatened to stage a protest against President Muhammadu Buhari at the UN Headquarters tomorrow.

The ex-Presidential aide who had been a critic of Buhari since he was elected as the Nigerian President in 2015, made this known through his social media page.

It could be recalled President Muhammadu Buhari departed Abuja Sunday for New York, United States of America, to participate in the 76th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA76).

President Buhari will address the Assembly during the General Debates on Friday, September 24 when he will speak on the theme of the conference and other global issues.

According to Omokri, who appealed to Nigerians in the diaspora to join him in harassing Buhari out of New York promised to be at the venue by 12 Noon, with T-shirt in either black or white as dress code.

In his words, “Buhari must not be allowed to destroy Nigeria by suffocating her in debt. Debt that has made the Naira worthless than the Zimbabwean dollar.”

“All because Buhari wants to build $2 billion dollar railway to his first cousins in Niger Republic, and the first naval base in a desert Kano.”

“Buhari should stop begging for loans in New York and return to fix the mess he made for our country.”
