Mrs. Gloria Obasi Sunday, the mother of controversial Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing, passed away on September 23, 2021, just a few days before her birthday.
Nkechi Blessing shared the burial arrangements in a new post on her Instagram page.
According to the post, the family will host a Christian wake on Friday, October 15th, an interment service on Saturday, October 16th, and a thanksgiving ceremony on Sunday, October 17th at Ojodu Berger, Lagos.

Nkechi Blessing went on to say that she would keep doing her best and that God will take care of the rest.
Over to you, Lord Jesus, she wrote in the caption. I can only give it my all while you take care of the rest. Mummy, continue to sleep. Keep this in mind for any of my fans who want to attend the Wake.
Remember how Nkechi Blessing wrote a heartfelt tribute to her mother, recounting how she has been working nonstop to guarantee her mother does not beg for food?
She wrote on her Instagram page that if doctors had asked for money to keep her mother alive, she would have begged the world to help her.
Her mother, on the other hand, merely complained of stomach problems before passing away. The actress pondered on how she would face the world without her.
She claimed to have built a house for her mother as a surprise birthday present, but she died before seeing it.
