In an interview on parenting, Nigerian entrepreneur, brand influencer, and Davido’s baby mama, Sophia Momodu revealed why she doesn’t let her daughter Imade flaunt her luxury and wear her Rolex watch.
Davido is notorious for getting his children everything they want as long as he can afford it, and he gave Imade a Rolex watch that she could flaunt at school, but Sophia Momodu said that this never happens under her watch.

According to her, the only time she ever lets Imade brag about herself is in academics and possibly at work, but anything outside of that is a no-no for her, and she’s delighted she’s getting it, and if she doesn’t, she’ll continue to educate her why.
Sophia Momodu also said that she has taught Imade that her friends can talk about the designer diamond jewelry they have on, but she is not allowed to and that she will continue to teach her why she is not allowed to show off.

Imade wore her Rolex watch all weekend in the hopes that Sophia Momodu wouldn’t notice so she could show it off to her classmates at school, but Sophia Momodu was there to burst her bubble when she asked her to take it off before going to school.
Some may disagree with Sophia Momodu’s method of teaching Imade not to brag about her possessions, even if she has them and can gain more, but it is her way of instilling in her daughter the importance of not bragging about what she has.
