Another storey building under construction has collapsed in Badagry area of Lagos on Wednesday with four persons feared dead.
This is coming on the heels of the 21-storey building that went down in Ikoyi, earlier in the month.

The Director of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, Margaret Adeseye, confirmed the incident in a statement on Wednesday.
The statement read: “There has been a reported case of a storey building collapse at Sunny Filled, Flour Mills, Estate, Magbon, Badagry, Lagos.
“The Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, Badagry Station has rescued five victims from the under-construction building while concerted efforts are ongoing to rescue remaining trapped victims”.
While briefing journalists on the latest development, Ibrahim Farinloye, the acting coordinator of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), south-west, confirmed the incident happened at about 1 p.m.
He confirmed that four workers died in the incident, while five were rescued with various degree of injuries.
“The building construction started about two years ago but not completed. However, further development just started three months ago,” he said.
Mr Farinloye said while the four persons that died were taken to the Badagry General Hospital for treatment, the injured workers were treated at Catholics hospital, Magbon.

“The families and relations of the affected victims have been identified by the relations of the victims,” he added.
