Abba Kyari, the suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police linked to HushPuppi’s fraud case, has been declared wanted by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) for alleged links to an international drug cartel.
Femi Babafemi, NDLEA spokesperson, announced this during a brief press conference held at the organization’s headquarters on Monday, February 14, 2022.

This comes just days after the Police Service Commission directed the police force to expedite its investigation into the $1.1 million fraud scheme involving Abba Kyari and an Instagram celebrity known as Hushpuppi.
Kyari was the officer in charge of the Inspector-General of Police Intelligence Response Team until his suspension.
