AC Milan has secured the services of Dutch midfielder Tijjani Reijnders from AZ Alkmaar on a permanent deal.
The midfielder committed to a long-term contract, pledging his loyalty to the club in a five-year deal that will expire on June 30 2028.

Hailing from Zwolle, Tijjani’s football journey began in FC Twente’s youth ranks, later moving to PEC Zwolle in 2015.
His impressive skills earned him a spot in the First Team, where he debuted on 13 August 2017.

After a successful stint at PEC Zwolle, he made the leap to AZ, initially playing for their reserve team before showcasing his abilities in the first team.
Throughout his time in the Eredivisie, Tijjani notched up an impressive record of nine goals and eleven assists in 105 appearances.
With such notable achievements, Tijjani caught the eye of the Netherlands national team selectors.
This further led to his inclusion in the squad for the Nations League Final Four campaign in May 2023.
In his new endeavor with AC Milan, Tijjani Reijnders will proudly don the number 14 jersey, as he embarks on a promising chapter in his football career.
The squad is set to embark on an exciting journey to the United States on Friday, with California and Nevada as their destinations, to gear up for the upcoming 2023-24 season.
During the trip, the team will participate in the Soccer Champions Tour 2023, where they will face off against other top European clubs.
The Rossoneri’s first match of the friendly tournament will take place on July 23 at the iconic Rose Bowl in Pasadena, where they will go head-to-head with the formidable Real Madrid.
Subsequently, on July 27, Milan will lock horns with Juventus at the Dignity Health Sports Park in Los Angeles, and on August 1, they’ll be up against Barca at the Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas.
During the tour, the players and coaching staff, under the guidance of Coach Pioli, will have access to state-of-the-art training locations, services, and facilities.
Notably, the BMO Stadium in Los Angeles will be the venue for Milan’s training sessions.
Beyond honing their athletic prowess, the tour serves as a strategic move to expand Milan’s presence and visibility in the vital North American market.
An eagerly awaited highlight of the tour is the debut of Milan’s new away kit, which will be proudly worn by the team during their encounter with Real Madrid at the Rose Bowl.
The official unveiling of the kit will take place in a special event in Los Angeles, hosted by AC Milan and PUMA, featuring Milan players and local celebrities in attendance.
