APC in Osun State has declared that the ongoing personnel audit in the state is an indicator that Governor Ademola Adeleke’s government has scored another typical failure.
The APC also expressed sympathy for the way the Osun civil officials were treated by the consultant in charge of the audit.

Lawal, the state chairman of the APC, made the declaration on Friday in Osogbo.
Lawal, who was perplexed as to why the state governor could not effectively conduct a staff audit, argued that it was botched because Adeleke lacked the qualities required to flourish in the job of governor.
Successful events in Osun State’s corridor of power from November 27, 2022 to date indicate that Governor Adeleke has nothing to offer the state and is only interested in the glamour of the governorship at the expense of the state’s improved fortunes.
The word of a gentleman is his bond. Has Governor Adeleke forgotten that during the gubernatorial campaign, he promised to pay all accumulated pensions, gratuities, and wages of pensioners and active workers within six months of his administration?
It is worth noting that with Governor Adeleke’s promise and fail approach towards the requests of active government workers and pensioners, the immediate-past Governor Gboyega Oyetola has been vindicated because it’s on record that the former governor would never promise something he couldn’t provide or achieve, Lawal added.
Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the state has lashed out at the Osun APC, stating that the party intends to utilise the little disagreement to re-enter the people’s reckoning.
The PDP, in a statement issued by the state chairman, Sunday Bisi, argued that the APC’s sympathy was phoney and that their track record on government workers’ management was littered with tragedy.

While defending the governor, Bisi noted that Adeleke is committed to improve the working conditions in the state.
He insisted that the PDP-led administration would continue to pursue steps to boost efficiency and accountability in public service.
