The coronavirus lockdown has taken a toll on most of our families with some having nothing to eat at all. Fortunately, Jennifer Obayuwana the daughter of Nigeria’s luxury goods mogul, John Obayuwana, has come up with a plan to help the country, a food distribution initiative for the poor.
We’ve seen her throughout the week moving to different cities and helping the less privileged. Taking it to her Instagram Jennifer Obayuwana wrote: “No one should go hungry in these times, so I spent my lockdown distributing food relief, palliatives and money to those who need it the most; widows, the elderly, the physically challenged and then the most economically challenged.

“I started off this journey with orphanages right before the lockdown but I soon realised that there were several communities desperately in need of food. This journey led me to Mushin, Ilaje, Agege, Ajuwon, Makoko, Ishaga, Idi Araba, Ebute Metta among others.
“I’m so proud of the team 👏🏽 they were so energised and worked selflessly with a mission to touch as many lives as we could. It was heart wrenching and joyful and this is how we shall spend the rest of our days, by His Grace
