Officers of the anti-cybercrime department of the Cambodia Police have arrested two Nigerian fraudsters, Makcava Femi Wisdom, 28, and Spark Onwa, 33 over internet fraud. The department also took into custody a 33-year-old Cambodian woman, Thon Sarem.

Gen. Lieutenant Neth Savoeun, who’s the director of National Police, announced this on Monday, Oct. 5th.
Mr. Savoeun revealed that the arrest was carried out by officers of the law led by lieutenant Chea Pove, and coordinated by the Phnom Penh court prosecutor, on Oct. 1st, 2020.
Mr. Savoeun of the Cambodia Police further hinted that the cybercriminals were brought to the Department of Technology Crimes for processing and later moved to the Phnom Penh Municipal Court for legal action following a revied complaint.
