It all began in 2013 when his family faced the distressing situation of being evicted from their home due to an N18,000 rent arrear.

However, little did they know that she too was struggling to settle her own rent. With an impending deadline looming over their heads, the pressure intensified.
With no other option, Crayon’s father signed a tenancy agreement with the landlord, hoping to secure a new home for his family. Unfortunately, fate had a different plan in store.
A few days before the deadline, the landlord received a tip-off about the new occupants in his property. Without hesitation, he swiftly took action, forcefully ejecting Crayon’s family from their temporary abode, leaving them devastated and homeless.
The heartrending sight of his parents pleading with the landlord left a profound impact on Crayon. He recounted feeling an overwhelming sense of depression, witnessing his loved ones in such a vulnerable state.
