In a whirlwind of culinary triumph, Ekiti State’s very own prodigious chef, Damilola Adeparusi, affectionately known as Chef Dammy, has decided to push the limits of gastronomic endurance.
Having recently completed an astounding 120-hour cooking marathon in Ekiti State, she now sets her sights on an even grander spectacle to secure her place in the Guinness World Records (GWR).

At the tender age of 22, this enterprising chef shared her plans with eager newsmen in Ado-Ekiti, the capital of Ekiti State.
While her previous culinary feat did not qualify for GWR recognition, Chef Dammy expressed her enthusiasm for embarking on new ventures and embracing fresh experiences.
Graciously acknowledging the support she received from stakeholders both within and outside Ekiti State.
The accomplished 300-level Mass Communication student at the Federal University, Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), affirmed her unwavering determination to break the world record with an upcoming 150-hour cooking marathon.
Amidst the buzzing speculation surrounding her future endeavours, Chef Dammy candidly addressed the burning question on everyone’s lips.
Damilola said, “I know the question that has been surrounding the minds of many people online and offline is what is next for Chef Dammy after the 120-hour cook-a-thon?-
-What will become of Chef Dammy after the world has known her and she has been put in the spotlight?-
–Well, Chef Dammy is open to exploration! I am open to new opportunities and new experiences in life. Now that the world knows what I am capable of doing.-
-I think it’s high time everyone started giving me a chance to explore in diverse ways and capabilities”.
“Finally, I know there have been many speculations about me not registering this just-concluded cooking, but my team and I have decided to embark on this new challenge next month”. Damilola Adeparusi spoke.
