David Silva, four-time Premier League winner and former Manchester City star, appears to be eyeing retirement following a knee injury.

Reports from El Larguero indicate that Silva is likely to announce his retirement soon as he feels that he won’t recover in time to make a return to the pitch.

The 37-year-old spent the last three seasons with Real Sociedad after leaving Manchester City, where he made 436 appearances and won 13 major trophies.

He was an integral part of the Spanish national team and won the World Cup and two European championships during his international career.
