Nigerian superstar Davido is reportedly set to perform at the 2022 FIFA World Cup closing ceremony in Qatar after Kiss Daniel held the stage during the opening ceremony.
According to reports, Davido will perform the Qatar World Cup anthem ‘Hayya Hayya (Happy Together)’ alongside Trinidad singer Cardona and Qatar singer Aisha at the closing ceremony on Sunday, December 18th, 2022.

Davido had withdrawn from public life due to family issues, and fans and colleagues have been sending him prayers and well wishes after he lost his son Ifeanyi.
An Instagram account @tooxclusive shared a message from stephenhungofficial who appears to be the first to break the news, writing, “So happy my bro @davido confirmed he will be performing at the World Cup Qatar closing ceremony. Can’t wait to see him there.”
His fans recently held a heartfelt concert in his honour, celebrating the icon in what has been described as the ultimate display of love.
