But hours later, FFK posted via his official Facebook account that he has been released.
The former minister is standing trial over a supposed N4.6 billion misrepresentation before Justice Daniel Osiagor of the Federal High Court sitting in Lagos.
He was charged together with a former Minister of Finance, Nenadi Usman, and two others on 17 counts of the scheme, tax evasion, and extortion.

At the last sitting of the court on October 13, the appointed authority had forced an expense of N200,000 on him because of his inability to show up before the court for his re-arraignment following the exchange of the former trial judge, Justice Rilwan Aikawa.
Kayode in his post on Facebook said he was not arrested but invited and had been bailed on self-recognition.
He added that he was checking in at a hotel in Lagos.
