Elon Musk is looking up to something new and that is a Cybertruck gigafactory that could be placed in “central USA,” and Model Y production “for East Coast too.” That’s a new goal after making a million Teslas.

The tweets that revealed the new goal came just hours after the exec polled followers on whether or not the Berlin factory Tesla is building should include a “mega rave cave” so we’ll see if any of these things come true.

There was a tweet in February that got people wondering if building a factory in Texas is a possibility for the comapny, so we aren’t sure now about what to hang on to, although the possibility of Elon Musk going on an Amazon HQ2-like quest collecting bids to put down roots seems very much possible.
Although the Model Y is available already as Tesla’s milestone vehicle yesterday and shipments are scheduled to begin any moment from today. But the electric truck is a bit further off.

Those who’re in a hurry can get Mattel’s version sooner – with production programmed to start in late 2021. We’ll see if that’s long enough to keep Tesla’s options opens on where to build the factory of its polarizing, angular pickup.
But with the current coronavirus pandemic in the United States it is not certain as yet when the company will make move and nothing has been said officially as to when exactly work will commence.
