Controversial Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh has nominated Williams Uchemba as her 2nd COVID-19 Hero for the Access Bank My COVID-19 Hero program, as she reserves the 1st position for herself following her humanitarian activities both before and during the coronavirus pandemic.

It’s quite commendable of the mum-of-one, who nominated the young philanthropist Williams, for his sincere concern for the less privileged in the society.

She said, while posting a photo of the then child actor, “For the love and consistency of his contribution to humanity before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. I also know that he already works for your brand “referring to Access bank” and may win but if he doesn’t and I do.

“I will be sharing my money with his foundation Because I know he would use the funds for the right purpose. I have always wanted to donate to his foundation but haven’t had enough to…”

Tonto had in a previous Instagram post said, “if she wins the Access Bank fund, that she would share the money with Williams Uchemba’s foundation as she had always wanted to donate to them but hadn’t had enough to do so.

“If I won the funds from you to support The Tonto Dikeh foundation, I will be sharing this money with 2other great foundations(eg @williamsuchemba @helplinefoundation) who I know would put the funds into good use and have also done well.”

Dear @myaccessbank , 14years as a humanitarian, 14years of running one of the biggest internationally recognized self funded NGO in Africa, I would say that. Covid19 isn’t the start of an amazing journey for us(THE TONTO DIKEH FOUNDATION) . . I am UNDOUBTEDLY My NO. 1 #Covid19hero and I’m very sure also millions of Africans #covid19hero . Why we should win? We are self sponsored(Out of 23million Naria spent on the covid19 iniative by my foundation, Only 3.7million was donated and the rest of the funds came from the foundation) We have so far sent WORTHY relief packages to 10,000 families, 2,000 Children across nigeria & 2000 Ghanians. We are out again on Thursday 30th April 2020 to distribute more relief packages to another 5,000 front liners (doctors and nurses, security personnel’s) and sick children Across Nigeria. We also set out to disinfect the major roads of 3states in Nigeria. We are proud of our achievements so far, the process is still ongoing. We give glory to God who made it all possible for me and my Team. We leave it all to God for constantly providing for us to give. . If I won the funds from you to support The Tonto Dikeh foundation, I will be sharing this money with 2other great foundations(eg @williamsuchemba @helplinefoundation) who I know would put the funds into good use and have also done well. . .
