Former Ebonyi State governor, Dave Umahi, stated that his Kaduna State counterpart, Nasir El-Rufai, will play a significant role in President Bola Tinubu’s administration, and that he also played a major role in getting the President elected. He noted that Nasr is a strong ally of the President.

Umahi claimed this in a Saturday interview with Arise Television. Tinubu, according to the former governor, cannot abandon him and El-Rufai because they worked for his election as president. He further beckoned on all viewers to watch out for Nasir’s moves in the administration, as there would be more, in no time.
Despite his recent anti-Christian remarks, Umahi maintains that El-Rufai will play a significant position in Tinubu’s cabinet due to his loyalty.
The senator-elect emphasized that the president will not remove himself from those who contributed to his triumph.
So be assured that Mr. President will not leave out people like El-Rufai and the rest of us who worked very hard for him, he said.
