Bulgarian Boxer Kubrat Pulev insists on challenging Anthony Joshua for the World Heavyweight title. He went ahead to tell Anthony Joshua to either fight him or lose the title.

The fight between Kubrat Pulev and Anthony Joshua slated for June 20 was postponed, and this has led to talks saying Pulev was paid to step aside so Joshua could challenge Tyson Fury for all four heavyweight belts.

Pulev said: “I can’t understand why we are postponing the fight rather than fixing a date and venue so we could get to work.”

“Enough is enough. I can’t wait to win this fight. I see how people are scared of me and are trying to face someone else before me. That’s really not how a world champion should act,” Pulev added.

Furthermore, Pulev said: “A year has passed by and they always have a reason to postpone my fights with Anthony Joshua. He either fights me or vacates the title.”

Kubrat Pulev should have fought Anthony Joshua in 2017, but he got injured and had to withdraw before the fight.

Anthony Joshua who currently holds the IBF, WBA, and WBO belts, has expressed his desire to challenge WBC champion Tyson Fury who is due to face Deontay Wilder for the third time when boxing returns.

Pulev who is one of Bulgaria’s most prominent sportsmen, suffered the only defeat of his career when he challenged Wladimir Klitschko for the IBF Heavyweight title in 2014 and lost in the fifth-round by knockout.

His record stands at 28 wins from 29 fights, while Anthony Joshua has recorded victory 23 times from 24 fights.
