When it came time for Burna to perform, however, the show’s promoter claims the Nigerian musician refused to come out.
He goes on to say that Burna’s mother, who also happens to be his manager, demanded an extra $10,000 before he would come down from his hotel room to perform.
He stated he understood he was being extorted at the time, so he declined, and Burna quickly posted on social media that the concert had been canceled, after which he and his colleagues snuck out the rear of the hotel.
