Janemena has disclosed how she met her husband, Andre Plies, and fell in love with him.
Janemena stated on her Instagram feed:
“I fell in love with my husband at second sight, the first time I didn’t know he had money.”
JaneMena acquired her first taste of fame after winning a dance competition organized by Nigerian music artist, Kcee in 2017, to complement his song Dance, featuring Phyno. She was awarded the sum of 2 million naira for her dance performance.
Months later, she started to share clips of her twerk skills on her Instagram page, which has more than 3 million followers at the moment.
She is regarded by many as Nigeria’s top-most ‘twerker’ and has been compared with South Africa’s Faith Nketsi in recent times.
