Nigerian actor, Yul Edochie, declared himself a man of peace as his heart jumped for excitement at his historic feat.
The actor boasted on his Instagram page that he was named the most peaceful Nigerian actor at the National Peace Awards.

A calm individual who believes in loving and tolerating each other regardless of tribe, color, or religious differences, in his opinion, is deserving of such honor.
He said that he will never stop defending the virtue of peace that has been bestowed to him, and he thanks the organizers for the wonderful honor.

Yul Edochie’s career in Nollywood began after relocating to Lagos from Enugu in 2005. When he arrived Lagos, for proximity to movie locations, he moved in with Nonso Diobi who housed and fed him. His intention was to hustle and become a big wig in the industry. And Luckily, that same year, he debuted in The Exquires together with Late Justus Esiri and Enebeli Elebuwa.
Edochie got married in 2004 at age 22 to May Aligwe, and the union is blessed with four children: 3 boys, 1 girl. He lives with his family in Lekki, Lagos.
