Instagram influencer, Mrs. Orezimena Usiwo Jane, popularly called, Janemena, has filed a complaint with the Inspector-General of Police, alleging cyberstalking and criminal defamation of her character by actress Tonto Dikeh.
According to the petition prepared on her behalf by her solicitors, R. A. Igelige, Esq of Felix, Igelige & Associates, her one-month pregnancy was lost due to Dikeh’s claim and the anguish it caused.
The claims are in a letter signed by Janemena’s lawyers, Felix, Igelige & Associates headed, ‘Re: Libellous statements published by you on your Instagram and Facebook pages – A demand for immediate retraction of the libelous publications, tendering of unreserved apology and payment of N500,000,000.00 as exemplary damages to Mrs. Usiwo Orezimena Jane, popularly known as Janemena.’
It partly reads: “We write you this letter to demand your immediate retraction of your publication referred to above, render an unreserved apology to her and pay her N500m as compensation for the callous publications.” Dikeh’s post implied that Janemena, who is married, is having a sexual relationship with Kpokpogri and is cheating on her husband.

Janemena is a graduate of Delta State University, Abraka’s Department of Mass Communication, as well as a freelance photojournalist who has worked with several media outlets, including The Pointer Newspapers. According to her lawyers, no such sex tape exists, and she has never had a sexual contact with Kpokpogri.
Janemena had been subjected to “public scorn, odium, and opprobrium in the comity of Isoko women, her business associates, friends, members of her family, and others” as a result of Dikeh’s “recklessness,” they said. “The painful situation into which Janemena was thrust by your publications under reference resulted in the miscarriage of her one-month-old pregnancy,” the letter continued.
Janemena then sought an immediate retraction of Dikeh’s declaration, which must be published in four national dailies as well as an apology and payment of N500 million.
