Kano State Governor Warns Criminals To Stay Away From The State.

Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf has urged criminals to stay away from the state, stating that his administration will not accept any action that disrupts the state’s current tranquility.

Yusuf delivered the warning while speaking to 20 suspected offenders detained by the Kano Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) at its headquarters on Sunday.

“My administration will not tolerate any act capable of disrupting the peaceful atmosphere in the state,” he stated. I’d also like to take this opportunity to urge criminals, particularly phone snatchers and armed robbers, to remain out of the state.

“We are prepared to provide a peaceful environment in which our people can carry out their legitimate activities, without fear of losing their lives or property.”

“We will provide all necessary assistance to all security agencies in order for them to carry out their primary mission diligently.”

The governor also cautioned residents, particularly youths, to avoid any type of political violence or terrorism.

Yusuf stated that the state government has taken concrete security measures to improve the state’s calm climate.

He stated that the state government has already established mobile courts to enable the swift punishment of phone snatchers and other criminal elements in Kano state.

He praised the NSCDC’s efforts in implementing different security measures that set the path for the apprehension of 20 criminals in a relatively short amount of time.

“We will support you in doing more to arrest underworld men so that residents can go about their daily lives without fear of losing their lives or property,” he added.

Mr Lawal Falala, the NSCDC Corps Commandant, had previously notified the governor that 20 individuals had been apprehended for various offenses in Kano state in the previous five days.

He stated that eight suspects were apprehended for a variety of crimes ranging from vandalism to phone snatching and motorcycle theft.

He stated that 12 individuals were apprehended in Sabon Gari, Fagge Local Government Area, for vandalizing an armored cable 7mms and phone snatching in Dorayi and Charanchi, both in Gwale Local Government Area of Kano State.

He stated that the command had already implemented proactive security procedures to address any type of security threat in the state.

Falala guaranteed that the command would continue to use intelligence-led and community-based approaches to improve the peaceful environment.

Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf has further issued a warning to all criminals, telling them to stay away from the state, stating that his administration will not accept any action that disrupts the state’s existing peace.

Yusuf stated that the state government has taken concrete security measures to improve the tranquility in Kano State.

He stated that the state government has already established measures to curb tbis meanance in the society especially in Kano State.

He stated his reign would be particularly known for peace in Kano State,  and swift punishment of phone snatchers and other criminal elements in the state would be taken seriously.
