A man who was caught in a cave in Wales for over two days has been rescued by no less than 240 individuals engaged with the rescue mission.
Following a 54-hour experience, the man was freed once again from Ogof Ffynnon Ddu in the Brecon Beacons at around 7.45pm on Monday.

In the wake of being lifted to the surface he was applauded and cheered by rescuers before being helped into a cave rescue Land Rover fit to be shipped down to a holding up emergency vehicle.
The man, who is in his 40s, was driven away to Morriston Hospital in Swansea.

“He wasn’t in a dangerous part of the cave, it’s just something moved from under him,” the 74-year-old said.
Paul Taylor, representative for South and Mid Wales Cave Rescue Team, said the man had gone into the Cwmdoor entry of the caves before he fell.

The caves considered the most unfathomable in the UK, are situated close to Penwyllt are 300 meters down.
