In a press release, a Spotify spokesperson confirmed that the Archewell Foundation had donated to both UNICEF and Save the Children.
A Prince Harry and Meghan Markle source did not reply to SurgeZirc Nigeria’s request for confirmation of the donation report.
According to the representative, the unspecified sum of money which was donated would “help provide relief after terrible floods wreaking havoc in Nigeria,” which continues to displace people and destroy lives and properties.
Many states in Nigeria have been devastated by the worst floods in years, displacing 1.3 million people, killing 600 people and injuring 2,400 others, according to available reports and statistics.
