Nigeria musician Naira Marley who planned a protest against the brutality of an arm of the country’s police called SARS which trended on social media with #ENDSARS scheduled to hold Oct. 6th.

Naira Marley in the early hours of Tuesday announced the cancellation of the planned protest via his Twitter page.
“We won’t be protesting anymore because there’s a lot of changes being made right now. As a Marlian we will give them a week to see the changes and if there’s no changes we will start a mass protest. #togetherwecan,” he tweeted.
