New Music Alert! Zlatan Ibile Drops New Street Anthem, “Ale yi”

Zanku Records’ boss, Zlatan Ibile, has dropped a new single titled, “Ale Yi” – a follow-up to his previous single, ‘Alubarika,’ featuring Buju.

In “Alubarika”, a spiritual tune with prayerful lyrics, Zlatan and Buju rap and sing about grace and hustle.

Zlatan’s real name is Omoniyi Temidayo; he is a multi-award-winning musician, songwriter, rapper, dancer, and the creator of the “Zanku” dance fad. Zlatan became a worldwide phenomenon in 2017 after a video of afropop artiste Davido dancing to his song “My Body” went viral on the internet. His big hit “Zanku (Legwork)” from 2018 made his self-created “Zanku” dance a nationwide success.

He had a hit in 2019 with “Am I a Yahoo Boy” and “Killin Dem,” which he sang with prominent Nigerian artist Naira Marley and African Giant Burna Boy. In 2019, he was nominated for four Headies awards, Nigeria’s most prestigious annual music awards, and he won Best Collaboration for his song with singer Burna Boy, “Killin Dem.” Zlatan started his own record company, Zanku Records, in the year 2020. Papisnoop, Oberz, and Jamopyper were among the people he signed.

Today, October 7, 2021, he releases ‘Ale Yi’ as the lead song from his upcoming album.
