It seems not to matter whether Nigeria is a democratic society or not, as anyone who takes an opposite view of whatever president Buhari says gets arrested. Currently, three persons were arrested by the Katsina State police officials on Thursday for insulting President Buhari and the state governor, Aminu Masari.

The Katsina State police revealed that they arrested three of them for making a video of them insulting the president and the state governor go viral on social media, according to a Daily Trust reports.
SP Gambo Isah, speaking for the police command said the state commissioner of police, Sanusi Buba, ordered for an investigation into who they are and where they live after the video surfaced which led to the arrest of the suspects.
The investigation shows that one of the arrested fellow 70-year-old, Lawal Abdullahi Izala; Bahajaje Abu and Hamza Abubakar all of Gafai Quarters, living in Katsina, agreed that they made the video.

The Katsina police claimed that the offenders “violated the provisions of the cybercrime act, and will be made to face the wrath of the law.”
