The past two weeks have been difficult and somber for Nigerians both in the country and those in the diaspora. The youth in Nigeria had been the first one to come out and protest pleading the federal government ends the police brutality the country is facing.
However, they were met by soldiers who have shot direct at them, a large number of wounded people were reported and they were also fatalities. The leaders of Nigeria turned a blind eye to the protest and genocide that has been taking place for days.

This saw Nigerians in the diaspora protesting and of course, a few questions came to mind, “was the IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu correct, is Buhari dead?” Well, a few citizens went on to dig information on what could have led Nnamdi Kanu to utter such a statement. As the old saying goes “where there is smoke, there’s fire.”
Fortunately, a man that is in Europe who was campaigning for Buhari had sent his condolences to his widow Aisha Buhari and this was on May 19, 2017. Eric Joyce whose account is verified on Twitter wrote: “Very sad to learn hear of the death of President Buhari, whom I campaigned for. Thoughts with his wife @aishambuhari and family. #buhari.”
At the time of writing this article his tweet from 2017 had not been deleted we did however take screenshots of the said tweet just in case he gets to delete later on.

Aisha was like that is not her husband. She said Buhari is not the one ruling this country that there are people that we don’t know and don’t see that are ruling this country.

You’d also recall BBC published that Buhari was dead, if that was fake news why didn’t the Nigerian government debunk the claim and demand the publication for a correctional article. As Nigerians get closer to unveiling the truth…
