Timi Frank, who was the former deputy spokesperson of the All Progressive Congress ‘APC’ said the planned nationwide move by the Peoples Democratic Party ‘PDP’ to protest the Supreme Court verdict that removed the former governor of Imo State, Emeka Ihedioha, will fail.

A Daily Sun report says that Frank made the prediction on Saturday, 18 January in reaction to PDP’s call for nationwide march to protest the judgement of the Supreme Court which nullified Emeka Ihedioha victory and restores Hope Uzodinma as Imo State governor.
Timi Frank said that PDP’s planned move was too little and too late because the party did not protest when it should have done so like when the chief justice of Nigeria Walter Onnoghen was removed from office and Supreme Court ruled against the opposition’s candidate Atiku Abubakar in the 2019 presidential election appeal.
Timi Frank also believed that PDP’s current predicament is largely caused by anti-party activities among its key players like governors and other executives.
Frank further said that apart from Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike and Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom, all other PDP governors are lobbying the presidency for goodies notwithstanding being in opposition.

Timi Frank faulted the Abia State Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, who is currently on a trip with President Muhammadu Buhari to London, for making such a move at a time when his party needed him the most to protest against the so-called Emeka Ihedioha unfair removal.
“Apart from the Governor of Rivers State Nyesom Wike and sometimes, the Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom, other PDP governors are PDP by the day and APC by night; they fraternize with the APC thereby rendering PDP incapacitated and unable to function properly and cannot play the role of effective opposition.”
