Prominent clergyman Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, known for his philanthropic endeavours, has responded to the allegations made against him by former security guards, Happie Boys.
The duo, consisting of Matthew Precious Kelechi and Amakor Johnson, publicly accused the clergyman of discontinuing their fully funded scholarship and allegedly abandoning them without assistance while studying in Cyprus.

In a bid to address these claims, Apostle Chibuzor took to his Facebook page to provide his perspective on the matter.
According to the clergyman, he decided to pause the funding of the scholarship due to the increased dollar exchange rate, which imposed a significant financial burden on him.
Apostle Chibuzor explained that he currently supports more than 4,000 individuals through his scholarship programs, and the escalating costs had become overwhelming for him to sustain.
Apostle Chibuzor clarified that the suspension of the scholarship affected not only Happie Boys but other students as well.
He emphasized that he had communicated the situation to the parents of all the affected students.
In light of the financial constraints he faced, he offered the alternative of allowing their children to continue their studies at any university in Nigeria or Benin Republic.
Despite the manner in which Happie Boys chose to handle the situation, Apostle Chibuzor expressed his forgiveness towards them.
He stated that he was willing to reinstate their scholarship, enabling them to pursue their education at any university in Nigeria or Benin Republic.
Furthermore, he assured that necessary arrangements were being made for the duo to return to Nigeria, with the matron responsible for their well-being instructed to arrange their return ticket.
Nevertheless, Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere has responded to the allegations made by Happie Boys, shedding light on the reasons behind the temporary pause in their scholarship funding.

He expressed his forgiveness towards the duo and extended an offer to reinstate their scholarship, providing them with the opportunity to continue their education in Nigeria or Benin Republic.
