An extended conference of leaders and stakeholders held last month at the party’s national secretariat failed to settle the party’s pre- and post-election problems.

The party warned its members that the gathering is not to play blame games over the outcome of the 2023 national elections.

Acting National Chairman Umar Damagum said that the leadership had previously met with stakeholders to resolve the lingering conflict, adding that today’s meeting will be a reconciliation move.

Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State, head of the PDP Governors’ Forum, has called the meeting. All 13 governors of the party are anticipated to attend the meeting, which will be held in the Akwa Ibom Governor’s Lodge in Asokoro, Abuja.

According to C.I.D. Maduabum, Director General of the PDP Governors’ Forum, the gathering will also address the state of the nation, particularly recent political, social, and economic events.

The meeting will discuss the state of the Forum, the party, and governors’ roles in stabilising the PDP and the nation.
