Plateau State has seen one more lethal attack as shooters raged Te’egbe community in Bassa Local Government Area killing several people.
It was gathered that few houses around the area of Plateau state were additionally set on fire by the shooters while a few others were wounded during the attack which happened in the early hours of Friday.

A representative for the Miango Youth Development Association, Nuhu Bitrus, affirmed the attack to the media in Jos on Friday.
As indicated by Bitrus, a rescue operation and search for the victims were all the while ongoing.
He added that up until now, 10 people who were shot dead by the shooters had been moved to the mortuary.
“Last night was really another black day for the Rigwe nation in Plateau as militia attacked Te’egbe village, killed so many people, and injured many others. They also set their houses on fire.
“Right now, we have just counted the bodies of ten persons who were shot dead by the attackers. They are being taken to the mortuary. We also discovered three persons who sustained gunshot injuries.
“Our people are still searching for more victims because the damage done to the community is too much. We will let you know when we are done with the search and rescue operation,” Bitrus said.
As at the time of filing this report, the representative of the Plateau State Police Command, Ubah Ogaba, couldn’t be reached for a comment on the incident.
Plateau is one of the northern states in Nigeria that has continued to witness incessant attacks and steady unrest as a result of insecurity facing the country.
