In Ibadan, the Oyo State Magistrate Court, situated in Iyaganku, has ordered the detention of Abdullahi Maruff Adisa, popularly known as Trinityguy, a skit maker, for allegedly exploiting a minor in one of his viral skit videos.
The incident was brought to light after Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Nigeria Police Public Relations Officer, called for the arrest of the skit maker last week due to the concerning content of his trending video pranks.

The Oyo State Police Command confirmed that the skit maker and the parent of the young girl featured in the viral video were interrogated by the Command and would be presented in court on Monday, June 26, 2023.
During the court proceedings, the defendant’s counsel, Oludare Adebayo, requested bail for his client, Trinity Guy, which was denied by Magistrate PO Adetuyibi.

The magistrate stated that the allegations against the skit maker are currently being investigated by the state Ministry of Justice.
Consequently, the court ordered the detention of both the parents of the minor and Trinityguy until the next court session. The Magistrate, Adetuyibi adjourned the case until July 11.
