Pregnant Rihanna is staying real with her changing body while making sure her style remains intact, speaking out about how she styles her new physique at her Fenty Beauty Universe Event in Los Angeles on Friday night.
Rihanna described it as “fun,” yet, “a challenge” to showcase her eclectic style while with child in an interview with People, adding, “I like it. I’m enjoying it.”
“I’m enjoying not having to worry about covering up my tummy,” the Fenty brand boss continued, “If I feel a little chubby, it’s like, whatever! It’s a baby!”
Rihanna also said that fashion has given her great confidence as she prepares to become a first-time mother, “Right now, being pregnant, some days you just feel like, ‘Ugh, I just want to lay here on this couch all day.’ But when you put on a little face and a little lipstick, you transform.”
Rihanna continued, “You put some clothes on, and it’s like, when you look good, you feel good. I’ve heard that for a very long time, but it’s true. It really can get you up off that couch and make you feel like a bad bitch.”
The model is expecting her first child with her boyfriend, Harlem rapper A$AP Rocky, and she showed off her baby bump beneath a long pink jacket with only one button fastened.
She finished the look with a long embellished necklace that was adorned with jewels and hung around her bump.

Later, she was seen flaunting her tummy in a Jean Paul Gaultier lace-up cardigan ($480) and The Attico stirrup leggings ($630), which she layered beneath a Carhartt x Wardrobe tee. Reversible jacket from NYC ($750).
This week, the boss babe sported a fur-trimmed Fendi crop top and low-rise jeans layered beneath a vintage patchwork denim-and-leopard coat.
