This Situation EP tears your heart out and makes you sit with the Nigerian people’s anguish, pain, blood, starvation, betrayal, and suffering.
It raises the bar for musicians’ ability to reflect on our world and challenges, compelling us to choose between being complacent or taking action. Each song has its own tale, whether it’s emotional, heartbreaking, raw, hard, or confronting.

Ruggedman’s #SituationEpChallenge provided new artists the chance to be featured on the EP, which is one of the standout aspects of this body of work.
Ruggedman is a graduate of political science from Lagos State University, Ọ̀jọ́. He started exploring music in 1999 and produced his own songs and released two tracks in 1999, both of which were well-played on the radio. Ruggedman launched himself into the music industry in 1999, eventually becoming the most featured rapper in Nigeria.
His albums are all released on his personal label, Rugged Records. Ruggedman has performed worldwide alongside international acts such as Sean Paul, Wyclef Jean, Akon, Maxi Priest, Kanye West, LL Cool J, T-Pain, and Nas.
The rapper’s record label, Rugged Records, signed its first act, singer MBRYO, in September 2012. MBRYO was featured on Ruggedman’s “Ruggedy Baba pt 2″, produced by Blaize Beatz.
