Bayern Munich has accepted an offer from Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr for the transfer of Sadio Mane, as confirmed by reputable journalist Fabrizio Romano.

The deal is now in its advanced stages, and Mane is expected to join forces with the legendary Cristiano Ronaldo to create a formidable attacking duo at Al-Nassr.

The paperwork for the transfer will be finalized after Mane undergoes a medical examination at the Saudi side.

The move will see Mane join Al-Nassr for a fee of £34 million (€40 million) and receive a net salary of the same amount.

Having joined Bayern Munich from Liverpool last year, Mane made 38 appearances for the German club and scored 12 goals.

He also played a key role in helping Bayern win the Bundesliga title last season.

Al-Nassr has been active in the transfer market, making significant signings such as Marcelo Brozovic from Inter Milan, Seko Fofana from Lens, and Alex Telles from Manchester United.

The club has also added Anderson Talisca and former Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina to its squad.

In the previous season, Al-Nassr finished as runners-up in the Saudi Pro League, falling five points short of champions Al-Ittihad.

Sadio Mane’s career has seen him progress from Metz to Red Bull Salzburg before moving to Southampton in 2014.

He then joined Liverpool two years later, where he achieved tremendous success, winning the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, and League Cup.

However, Mane’s time at Bayern Munich was not without challenges.

An injury prevented him from representing Senegal at the World Cup in Qatar, and he also had a confrontation with teammate Leroy Sane after a Champions League defeat to Manchester City.
