In his latest single titled ‘Try Me [Raw],’ released on Wednesday, Sarkodie seemingly addressed the accusations made by Yvonne Nelson.

He claimed that although he wasn’t prepared to become a father at the time, he had asked Yvonne Nelson to keep the pregnancy. In the first verse of the song, he raps, “Yes, I wasn’t ready, but then I told you to keep it. So don’t make it seem like I was pushing you for abortion.”

Sarkodie further expressed his view that Yvonne Nelson’s book gained attention not because of its quality but because of the negative things she wrote.

Sarkodie stated, “Not because your book is really good, but we are living in a world where negativity sells.”

Sarkodie advised Yvonne to accept responsibility for her choices and refrain from personal attacks, emphasizing that “nobody is the cause of your bad choice in life.”
